SG LIMAU Only hours before campaigning for the Sg Limau seat ends at midnight, PAS is crying foul that BN is trying to sabotage its supporters by telling them that the former has won the election.

PAS has appealed to its voters to come out in full force to vote for their candidate Mohd Azam Samat and not to pay heed to BN, who allegedly told them there is no need to go out and vote tomorrow, polling day.

NONEPAS vice-president Mahfuz Omar (right) said today that the party's supporters have been approached by BN supporters telling them there is no need to vote as Azam has already won the election.

"BN workers are doing this house to house and giving people RM200 to RM300 so that they do not come out to vote tomorrow," he claimed at a press conference.

"Our supporters from outside of Sg Limau also received SMSes telling them the same thing," he added.

The Pokok Sena MP urged Sg Limau voters to send a clear message to BN that they reject the federal government's policies and decision to implement the GST which will burden the rakyat.

"The voters here represent not only Kedahans but all Malaysians, they have a big responsibility here to send the message that we reject BN policies which are not pro-rakyat," said Mahfuz.

However, in a press conference at the BN's command centre in Sg Kering today, Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin denied that BN pays voters to get them not to vote PAS.

"PAS is just worried," he said briefly, referring to his opponent's concerns in the last hours of campaigning for the Sg Limau seat.
