Sg Limau candidates cast their votes

SG LIMAU Both candidates in the straight fight for the Sungai Limau state seat by-election have cast their votes this morning.

NONE Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Ahmad Sohaimi Lazim and his wife voted at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Dulang, Yan at 8.47am, while Mohd Azam Abd Samat from PAS cast his vote at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Besar at 8.30am.

As at 9am, polling went smoothly with police personnel controlling traffic at the 17 polling centres and the surrounding areas.

Voters began to arrive at the polling centres at 7am with supporters of both parties gathering to show their support for their respective parties.
