Jertih assemblyperson Mohd Pehimi Yusof was appointed as a member of the Terengganu state government executive council (exco) today.  

The swearing in ceremony took place before the Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin at Istana Syarqiyyah in Kuala Terengganu, witnessed by Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Said, Communication and Multi Media Deputy Minister Jailani Johari and Terengganu state assembly speaker Mohd Zubir Embong.

Met after the ceremony, Mohd Pahimi said he was very touched by the leadership’s trust in him.  

He said although he has not been informed about his portfolio, he was prepared to accept anything and promised to carry out the entrusted duties to the best of his abilities for the well-being of the people.

The Agriculture Diploma holder was previously the state Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Committee deputy chairperson.
