Suhaizan a whiff of fresh air? We'll wait and see

Suhaizan a whiff of fresh air for PAS Youth
Lone_star:
There is a hopeful "whiff" of fresh air with new PAS Youth chief Suhaizan Kaiat, but this has to be seen. Hopefully, Suhaizan will see that PAS Youth is more rakyat-oriented and less inclined to moral policing.
Can metal bands and divas be more detrimental to the country than corruption and religious bigotry? PAS Youth should weigh them out.
Fairnsquare: A moderate PAS is a definite threat to Umno, and media baiting during 'popular entertainment events' was aimed at negative impacting of PAS as an extremist party, bent on religious policing.
Suhaizan has quite rightly seen through this move engineered by the press owned by BN components. Hopefully he will be able to guide the members through this initiative.
Islam must be preached and spread through impeccable leadership and not forced, mandated and policed.
An incorruptible PAS, following the teachings of the Prophet will be able to win support of both the Muslims and non-Muslims, rather than an extremist one.
With the rampant bigotry so apparent recently, if PAS makes this change it will definitely win the support of the all the rakyat. Hopefully this will be their new direction.
Anonymous_408d: I detest PAS because all that is visible of them is their dire need to suppress women and their hysterical outbursts against inconsequential things like Valentine's Day, rock concerts, etc.
They hardly make a noise about things that really matter, like the wholesale corruption that is bleeding this country dry, women abandoned by men who don't divorce them, thus denying them the chance to build new lives, or divorcing them without paying alimony, etc.
In my humble opinion, PAS cares only about hudud and their version of Islamic living and not about being progressive and dynamic.
They are arrogant, extremely myopic, old fashioned to the point of being ludicrous, small minded, incapable of processing life as it is now, in this century and basically, a major embarrassment.
As for Suhaizan, we'll wait and see whether he is indeed a breath of fresh air, or just a repackaging of the same old self-serving nonsense.
Appum: Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin is a 'convenient moderate' - one who is moderate as and when it is convenient to be so. I hope Suhaizan will not be such a one.
Swipenter: PAS Youth was not much of anything but a self-appointed moral police and whether God has any intention and anyone to represent him on Earth is still unknown until now.
The world would not end because of Valentine's Day, street dancing and rock concerts. If so then the world would have ended with the advent of joget dancing, the twist, the shake and with the Beatles and Rolling Stones.
Non-Muslim wing feels like neglected wife
Onyourtoes: Everyone is trying to find his/her own turf. Look, PAS Supporters' wing chief Hu Pang Chow, you are nothing, so don't talk crap here and create further disunity among Pakatan component parties.
You have chosen to be a minor wife, so live with it. Goodness me, is there honour and dignity left in Malaysia's politics? If there is any role you can play, Hu, ask PAS to open up its membership completely, irrespective or race and religion.
SenyumUnta: Hu, you mean before and during GE13, the Supporters wing was as a "beloved wife", now after GE a "neglected wife"? You can still find a new lover within Pakatan.
Hermit: But it's lust and corruption that made Bijan turned to Aminah, rather than be contented with Rose. With the resources endowed to Bijan, he can keep two more horses in his stable.
Lim Chong Leong: I think the more appropriate quote should be "if you are married to Rosmah, you should not be coveting Aminah".
