Former Bukit Aman CID director Mohd Fauzi Shaari passed away at the Selayang Hospital last night due to liver and kidney complications.
Former Bukit Aman CID director Mohd Fauzi Shaari passed away at the Selayang Hospital last night due to liver and kidney complications.
According to the police Facebook , Mohd Fauzi, 63, who was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital on Wednesday, died at 8.17pm last night.
The statement said Mohd Fauzi’s (

) body was brought back to his house at No 7, Jalan 10/15, Seksyen 10, Shah Alam, Selangor and would be buried at the Seksyen 21 Muslim Cemetery in Shah Alam, today.
The late Mohd Fauzi, whose hometown was Larut Matang in Perak, leaves behind his wife Fauziah Ngah Nordin and four children, all boys.
Mohd Fauzi joined the police force on April 30, 1975 and served as the police chief of Sarawak and Selangor before being promoted as Bukit Aman CID director in 2005 until he retired a year later (Sept 24, 2006).
