February trial for man who 'claimed to be Kedah royalty'

Magistrate Sri Pracha Nanthini Balabedha set the trial date after Roshidi Fadzil, 47, of Taman Bunga Raya, Malacca, pleaded not guilty to claiming to be Tunku Putera Roshidi Tunku Fadzil.
Roshidi had claimed to a Kedah prince to one Ooi Ten Seng, 33, at the banquet hall of the Cititel Hotel in George Town on Oct 23 last year.
He had also pleaded not guilty to a charge of using the logo of Pertubuhan Amal Kebajikan Islamiah Malaysia without the approval of the Registrar of Societies at the same place and time.
Roshidi was represented by lawyer Muhd Yahya Zakaria.
