A businessman lost RM150,000 when his car was broken into at Jalan Sin On in Tawau yesterday.

Tawau district police chief ACP Awang Besar Dullah said, in the incident at about 12 noon, the victim aged 37 had parked the vehicle in front of a restaurant to meet a friend.

“The man claimed that a green bag containing RM150,000 and important documents were missing from the vehicle,” he said in a statement in Tawau today.

He advised the public not to leave cash or valuable items in their vehicles.
