Kesas Sdn Bhd today announced that the toll rate will not be increased for Lebuh Raya Shah Alam (LSA) next year.
In a statement, Kesas said LSA was not listed as one of the highways where toll charges would be increased.
"As the concessionaire of LSA, we deny any statement or report being published or released in relation to this," it said.
Talks about a possible hike in toll rates surfaced after Works Minister Fadillah Yusof said they would be revised next year to comply with the agreement between the government and the concessionaire.
A newspaper report recently said toll was likely to increase between 30 sen and RM1 for 13 highways.
