Plus highway users who pay toll electronically on Dec 25, will enjoy a 10 percent rebate in conjunction with Christmas Day.

Plus Malaysia Berhad senior general manager (operations) Mohd Zulastri Mohd Amin said it covered all Class 1 vehicle highway users paying toll electronically with PLUSMiles cards, Touch ‘n Go or SmartTAG.

“The toll rebate can be enjoyed the whole day and not restricted to a particular time-frame,” he said in a statement in Kuala Lumpur today.

Mohd Zulastri said electronic toll system users who were entitled to the rebate would be able to redeem it when they reload their PLUSMiles or Touch ‘n Go cards at Plus customer service centres from Jan 16 until April 15, next year.

However, the toll rebate will not be offered at the Tanjung Kupang, Bukit Kayu Hitam, Bangunan Sultan Iskandar and Penang Bridge toll plazas.

He said the rebate was part of the company’s strategies to spread the traffic and encourage people to travel during off-peak days.
