your say, Yoursay Sad Malaysian: Of course you cannot hide 40,000 Bangladeshis who were alleged phantom voters. That is why there are videos and pictures taken by the rakyat to show it. Seeing is believing, especially during election day.

Anonymous_40f4: The Bangladeshis were all Malayisan celup citizens. Look all around you in Kuala Lumpur and you will find Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, Africans, Indonesians and Indian nationals.

If you are in a commuter train or LRT or RapidKL bus 70 percent of the travellers are foreign workers and the rest Malaysians. Jalan Bukit Bintang has been taken over by foreigners. They do all sorts of trade and even black marketing.

Project M (M stands for former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad) alone created two to three hundred thousands of illegal voters, mostly Filipinos, Indonesians and other foreign Muslims from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan , as partially revealed in the recent Sabah RCI.

It is mainly these phantoms that have kept BN in power and enabled leaders like Najib to continue to talk rubbish and lie with impunity, as Najib does now. If Najib denies this, would he be a gentleman and accept an open debate on this issue?

And do have some sense of shame not to repeat a lie so many times ‑ about the 40,000 Bangladeshi voters. Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has already repeatedly and categorically denied that he or any Pakatan leader ever said 40,000 Bangladeshi were flown in.

All Anwar said was that many planeloads of voters were flown in discreetly during even ungodly hours from Sabah, to which BN leaders including Ku Nan (Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh) admitted as much, but claimed that these were flights sponsored by well‑wishers to ferry West Malaysians back to Peninsula to vote.

But no one believed these BN lies, as everyone knows that there are only migrant workers from East to West, not the reverse. The PM is well advised to first come up with credible evidence, if he wishes to repeat the same lie in the future, so as not to make a further fool of himself.

Samurai: Gullible? No such thing as foreign voters? Tell that to the Sabah RCI which has heard of so may testimonies of illegal voters. If it has happened in Sabah, don't tell me it hasn't happened in West Malaysia. The testimonies there alone would cast serious doubt about the many irregularities noted in our electoral roles.

And remember the privileged Bangladeshi's who were escorted by police for 'entrepreneurial courses' near Putrajaya before the GE? Even born and bred Malaysians don't get such special treatment. Isn't that suspicious?

What about Klang MP Charles Santiago's claim that names from the Sabah roll heard in the RCI were found in his constituency? The courts would probably not dare to hear the case, they would probably hide behind Section 9A of the Elections Act's skirt like in so many other cases, the precise reason why that section was made in the first place.

If you are so smug about the Bangladeshi voters claim, why not abolish Section 9A and let the courts decide? Dare?

And what about all the personal testimonies of stolen identities and other electoral shenanigans reported on May 5? All of them lying? Enough lah, it wouldn't be so irritating if you'd just keep quiet after the act, but you have to brag your fake innocence.

Black Mamba: The issue here isn't that the voters are gullible. It's the issue of BN's credibility when it was admitted in the Sabah RCI that NRICs were in fact issued to thousands of illegal migrants from the neighbouring countries with the knowledge of the previous PM and his ministers.

Now, tell me, whom do we believe? BN or Pakatan?

SpongeBob: This PM always uses the issue of Bangladeshi nationals voting in the general election. He is bankrupt of issues to attack the opposition. For your information Mr PM, the Bangladeshis are hired as cashiers at many urban petrol stations, hypermarkets, petty trader owners in wet markets, small time illegal contractors and the list can go on, to the extent of depriving your Malay race and other Malaysians.

Your bumiputera petrol station owners are the culprits for hiring them so that they can be paid low salaries instead of hiring locals. With your minimum wage introduction, the trained poor and dropout Malaysians will definitely take up the cashier jobs.

Your uplifted Malay race is now destroying and depriving the poor Malays and other locals. What do you say about this?

Ferdtan: "It went into a frenzy. What is wrong with the Malaysian people? Can't we all think?" Najib said with regard to the large number of concerned public who came out on voting day to check and block the bogus (foreigners) voters from illegally voting.

Of course, a few mistakes had been made like what the PM had pointed out - the mistaken identity cases. The question is, whose fault it is that Malaysians came out in droves on their own time and effort, without any reward to man the polling stations?

Basing on personal experience at one polling station, we were on vigil under shade due to hot weather and at certain period rain came and we were drenched.

The support and solidarity among the multiracial crowd was fantasy - umbrellas were shared among strangers as most stood their ground, afraid that phantom voters may sneak in at that wet moment.

I have seen the party members talking politely to a few suspicious characters. That was all there was to it. Was it a success? A resounding ‘yes.' The message to the potential phantom voters is that they were being watched; thus this acted as deterrence to the others not to turn up to vote illegally.

That aside, why did Malaysians come out to do the vigilant job that should be the job of members of the Election Commissions (EC) and the police? It is because the people just do not trust them.

If the EC were trustable then we would have spent quality time lazing at home.

Onyourtoes: Umno‑BN, you have nothing, you have no defence, and you have no excuse for your malfeasance that is now so blatantly manifested for all to see. Don't harp on Bangladeshi voting.

52 percent of the rakyat are willing to be "gullible" to tolerate the alleged lie because the alternative is bigger lies, bigger incompetence, bigger baloney and bigger corruption and abuse of power from BN.

The people will remember you for eternality for labelling us gullible. Yes, the 47 percent of rural nincompoops who voted for BN‑Umno are not gullible. They are the savviest people on earth who have to depend on BR1M, BRAM, BROM like opium.

The rakyat knows who pocketed the Scorpene submarines' RM500 million administration fee, the rakyat even know who C4ed Altantuya Shaariibuu and why, the rakyat do not agree with the wasteful mega projects, the rakyat are worried sick about the auditor-general's reports, the rakyat are fed up with the inefficiency of the police, the rakyat are sick of the MACC and the rakyat are tired of your wife Rosmah Mansor.

So Najib, do not think the rakyat are gullible. You can suspend the news weekly The Heat, but the rakyat will still know your lies and your wife's jetsetting ways.

Neutral Stance: Why is rakyat so gullible to vote BN back in power again? Corruption, cronysim, I am stunned that our PM still has the guts to say such things.
