The Meteorological Department, in a statement here, said strong winds reaching speeds of 50-60 km/hour were expected with waves reaching a height of 4.5 metres.
In addition, thunderstorms occurring in the waters of Palawan, Condore, Reef North, and Layang-Layang with strong winds exceeding 60 km/hour and waves reaching a height of 5.5 metres were also expected to continue until tomorrow morning.
Both weather conditions are dangerous for shipping, small boats, sea and beach recreational activities as well as fishing, ferry services and sea sports.
