Idris Jala told to quit over 'Allah' fiasco
Anonymous_4031: Idris Jala, Pemandu CEO, is being put in a spot. The 10-point solution that was hammered out and endorsed by the cabinet just before the Sarawak state election in 2011 appears now to be a red herring to appease the Christians.
They should honour the agreement by all means. Mahatma Gandhi once said: “A vow is a vow. It cannot be broken.” The same goes with the 18-point and 20-point Agreement for Sarawak and Sabah before the two states became part of Malaysia.
Now, what goes into Idris Jala's mind, only God knows! He is however a man of substance and integrity.
People will always remember the legacy that a leader leaves behind. You will always be remembered long after you are gone. The legacy remains in the hearts and minds of the people.
Nelson Mandela, the anti-apartheid campaigner, once said: "I hate race discrimination intensely, and will fight against it to the end of my days." He never wavered; he stuck to his principle.
AnakJohor1920: As a faithful Christian and a servant of God, Idris Jala should demonstrate and uphold his highest moral values and Christian principles in not being a servant to his political masters in anyway but is indeed a servant of God who fears no man.
If his 10-point solution is not honoured and respected by Putrajaya and the PM, then it is really meaningless for him to remain in the PM's Office.
Idris, you are a rare, talented and capable person. You do not need to "kowtow" or submissive to Putrajaya masters and disregard your own Christian principles. Please do not associate yourself with liars and tainted and corrupted politicians.
Enough is enough. You will have to make up your mind once and for all whether to stand up and carry the cross in your heart and denied those politicians who continue to persecute especially the East Malaysian Christians in this awful manner.
It is not right for a Christian to keep silent while other fellow Christians are being persecuted.

He (and his consultant army) would have known that Najib and his high living friends have little interest in anything beyond the next 10-course dinner.
Still they played the game to string gullible Christians along with nary a thought about what the post-election rampage by the semi-literates would be.

Fernz: As in Thailand, it's not possible to change the government through the electoral system. The government lacks legitimacy and it will get away with it if the people just keep quiet.
The present government in Putrajaya must be forced by the UN Security Council to step down and an interim government should be set up to reform the electoral process and hold free and fair elections.
Unafraid: Let's not shoot our own. How do we know that Idris is not doing anything behind the scene for the Christians? Could it have been far worse if he is not there?
Let's give him a chance. Not only Idris, but also the other Christian bumiputera ministers as well, such as Maximus Ongkili and Joseph Kurup.

Toonarmy: The so-called 10-point solution was just a pre-election gimmick. Just ask Hindraf what happened to its MOU (memorandum of understanding).
After being conned into supporting Umno at GE13 when Umno unrolled some toilet paper and scribbled ‘MOU’ on it, Hindraf's reward was more temple demolitions, sorry, temple 'beautification'.
Not to worry, Umno will unroll more toilet papers and sign another 10-point solution just before GE14 - that’s a certainty.
Bluemountains: It is not Idris alone who has not spoken. What about ministers Ongkili, Paul Low and others?
When are they going to defend their own religion? Please do not allow the Christian community to feel that you have betrayed them.
MinahBulat: Come on chaps, what you are asking for is integrity and honour over religion from Idris Jala. To call him to resign? No way, the money and position is just too good.
Christianity is on the back-burner and he will do his best to tell Najib what you want him to, but if Najib refuses to listen what can he do? Resign?
