YOURSAY 'Auto-pilot? No, the plane's been hijacked and is now on a nosedive.'

'Auto-pilot' BN will tear M'sia to bits, says Ong

EvenSteven : Former MCA chief Ong Tee Keat, how can PM Najib Razak get on the pilot's seat when he is not even in the plane? Everything is now left to his ‘machais’ (lieutenants) to run the show - from organising angry mobs to pronouncing the 'Allah' fatwa.

The man knows now for sure he will never serve another term, so everything is now about serving his own interests and nothing else. Make hay while the sun shines, so to speak.

He will soon be undermined by his fellow Umnoputras, mark my words. Note that even the old fox has jumped into the fray.

Haveagreatday: Ong has hit a raw nerve with this criticism of Najib and the MCA leadership. It is well-placed critique but sadly the PM is still missing in action.

The police are so busy trying to please their political masters that they do not even know when a protest has crossed the line of peaceful disagreement over opinions.

When threats of violence and aggressive behaviour are exhibited, the police must not stand by idly.

Quigonbond: Ong can't even say it straight. It is because of Umno's provocative partisan politics that Malaysians are worried, not some flash mob.

Where are the police? Why aren't the Umno leaders held for sedition? If there is ever a case of sedition, this is one of them.

Pemerhati: The ugly episodes by the Umno goons are almost certainly financed and organised by Umno’s top leadership, just like the cow- and pig-head incidents.

Umno is continuously on the lookout for opportunities to start some sort of racial and religious tension so as to appear to be the champions of the Malay race and their religion.

Umno thinks that it is the best way to regain their dwindling Malay support. Even if a bloodbath ensues, Umno still gains as it can declare a state of emergency and continue their looting.

CiViC: Ong, you are just saying the obvious, at most echoing of what others have already said long before. Yet nothing happens. Indeed, everything is getting worse. But like Najib cares.

MinahBulat: I’m not blaming you, Ong, but your party is part of the government and your party has done nothing to stamp out this nonsense. If you cannot do anything, why lament now? Get out and join the forces that can make a difference.

A Selangor Voter : MCA is part of the mess... it has always been and will always be, as it is totally beholden to 'big brother' Umno.

Anonymous #02382443: For once, I agree with Ong. There are certain things all sides must refrain from, for reason of its sensitivity. Big brother must discipline all and sundry.

YUNoAnon: Ong, did you dare to raise these comments while you were leading MCA? Dare you raise this to your 'friends' in MCA? No, you say this as your "personal opinion" only. But when it matters, you dare say nothing.

You'd rather let them destroy this country and let it descend into anarchy. The government will no longer control the country. It will instead be ruled by mobs.

Anonymous_4056: The destruction of Malaysia has just begun. What you see happening since the day Perkasa was activated was the birth pain of the death of this nation.

The final nail in the coffin was when Umno denied the Christians of worshipping their Allah in their own language - a very serious and vile move by Umno.

Paul Warren: Will anyone in MCA, Gerakan and MIC be the first to own up to their mistake when they had supported the 'Allah' and other banned Arabic words enactments when they were passed?

Apapunboleh: Because of the loss of influence by BN-Umno, these gangsters are trying to cross the invisible boundary to create a riot. It's best not to play into their hands.

It will only be in the interest of Umno if there is any racial strife. In such an event, the BN component parties will just watch on the sidelines, afraid to cross Umno in this charade.

Peacemaker: It has been a long acknowledged fact that Umno bigwigs engineered the May 13, 1969 racial riots. For decades Umno managed to keep the truth under wraps, but truth has a way of spilling out at inconvenient moments.

SpongeBob: Ong, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Najib is adamant; he will only step down after bringing the country to destruction.

Anonymous_4056: This nation, having been put on auto-pilot, is done on purpose. The deafening silence, or rather the seeming lack of leadership, is also done on purpose. It is the mark of end-time tribulations.

Tikusmati: Perhaps the government is not on auto-pilot but more of remote pilot like a drone. Umno is using advanced technology to further its cause to dominate, rape and plunder the nation.

I really do not think they have any interest in the rakyat's cause, or maybe just enough so that they can get by.

NuckinFuts: Auto-pilot? The plane's been hijacked and is now in a nosedive.
