‘Kangkung’ has not only become the main topic of conversation following the prime minister’s remarks, it has now become a game that can be downloaded through an app on Android.

The game which was named ‘KangKung’ was developed by a group known as ‘Qotak Company’ on Jan 23.

“We built this game just for fun as the kangkung theme has become the hottest topic in Malaysia.

“The game is meant to be played for relaxation - no need for tension. The aim of the game is simple, just collect as much kangkung as you can. Try it today!” said the developers.

At the time of writing, 17 people have posted reviews about the game on Google Play saying that they were highly amused, while 15 of these rated the game as five-stars.

“Awesome audio, funny graphics, hahaha,” said reviewer azmanjohar.

“Wakakakakaka, should have put najib as the one collecting the kangkung,” commented Salmah Sulaiman.

Whereas a reviewer known as Hairi said the game was "better than (harvesting in) a farm".

Besides the game, users can also download several kangkung-themed wallpapers, among which are ‘Lenggang Kangkung’ and ‘Kangkung McKangKung’, as well as a satirical converter called ‘Kangkung Converter’.
