Rafizi: Reject PKR if you feel it is a game

 

Iwatch: In foreign countries once an election is over, there will be reconciliation and everything goes back to normal. Every constituency will be fairly and equally taken care of, unlike the Umnoputra regime which tries ways and means to continuously stir up racial tension and create disunity in the relationship among the races until the next general election (GE14), just to hold on to power.

Hopefully, the voters will have clear minds and see through the evil intention of this Umnoputra regime. Our country is lacking behind in terms of competitiveness, education and highly skilled labour and yet the Umnoputras are doing nothing.

Instead, the team lead by the fourth prime minister keeps on sabotaging the current administration with the intention to topple Ah Jib Gor through endless internal squabbles.

Anonymous_1387287912: If the move is to pave the way for Anwar Ibrahim to be menteri besar, just say so. No need to say maybe, option, etc. The plan is for Anwar to take over as the Selangor menteri besar, so just be brave enough to admit it so we voters can decide who to vote for.

Apa nama: Yes Rafizi, let the Kajang voters decide whether they want peace or they want Umno’s fear-mongering tactics. If they are angry, they can refrain from voting for Anwar, but for what they may do, the whole country will not forgive and forget the Kajang voters. The damage here is not just Anwar, you, PKR and Pakatan Rakyat, but also the whole country.

To Kajang voters, this is a sudden decision which no one can digest but the Molotov attack at the church in Penang is also sudden, putting up the banners is also sudden, the damage to the Christian cemetery in Kuantan is also sudden. We need to digest all these but we cannot digest the ‘Kajang move’.

Come on, be mature. Something fishy is going on and going to happen. PKR smells a rat and needs to step in suddenly. This is not suspense but sometimes we have to accept sudden things in life. After all, this what life is all about: ups and downs.

Tentarik: PKR director of strategy Rafizi Ramli has given the people an insight into the move for a by-election in Kajang. In fact, Anwar is taking a big risk for himself and for Pakatan. I commend Pakatan leaders and Anwar for such a bold move/sacrifice for the country. I urge all Kajang voters to give their full support to Anwar/Pakatan. God bless.

Lionking: Come on, people of Kajang. Whatever is said and done, who would you vote for - MCA or PKR? The opposition has better quality of politicians. Surely the Election Commission must have considered a few by-elections in its budget costing.

Open minded: Anwar in particular, and PKR in general, have lost their original enthusiastic character and fair stand on issues involving the basic rights of all Malaysians. Being mostly an Umno-origin product, they now seem to show their real colours.

PAS and DAP have in fact proven themselves to be better crusaders to fight for fairness for all. Well, PKR and Anwar, what a great let down.

Patriotic: Then people should do that, reject PKR. Nobody should take the people for granted, especially with the taxpayers’ monies.

Ksn: Rafizi, for all the intelligent, revealing things you have said before, why are you in the forefront defending this immature decision by PKR? Is it necessary? Why?

Explain the reasons to the satisfaction of all voters, supporters of PKR in Malaysia in general and Kajang voters in particular. All the rationalisation so far from the PKR side have not been convincing. Pending that, the by-election decision is immature and silly.

Powerstar: Why doesn’t Malaysiakini say where Rafizi said this. Why did they selectively choose to quote only Hishamuddin Rais and Rafizi. Does Malaysiakini just write to please their pro-PKR shareholders? Please cover the forum properly and give equal coverage to other speakers so that you don't sound like Utusan Malaysia .

Clearwater: I still don't fully buy Rafizi's explanation but I will give him the benefit of the doubt, not the least because he is a man of integrity. Vote for Anwar and PKR.

REAL TRUTH: This is a great game plan to counter the race and religious polarisation Malaysians are undergoing under the great master plan to create a scenario of race and religious intolerance by Umno, for the sake of gaining votes in the next GE.

See, the ‘Allah’ issue and religious issues have gone quiet when Anwar announced that he is contesting. Let us all support moves that reduce tension and vote for Pakatan and let Anwar handle the rest.

Unmasked: Fifty-one percent of the voters supported Pakatan in GE13 because we love Malaysia and cannot bear to see our nation being mismanaged. For some reason, PKR made a tactical political move in Kajang. Because of this development, many disagreed and some even urged Kajang voters to ditch PKR to teach it a lesson.

So, are we saying because of this by-election, we dump Pakatan and throw our support back to BN for it to continue the mismanagement of our country? If this is the case, then we deserve what we are going through now.

Sleepy: Like I said before, Azmin Ali is a seasoned politician but people will not accept him. Khalid Ibrahim is a good financial leader accepted by the people, but unfortunately he is 'easy meat' for seasoned politicians. Since this issue is 'dirty' politics, who do you need to counter-attack? A seasoned politician or a very good financial leader?

Mushiro: Anwar as an assemblyperson is an option that Pakatan can use anytime to change the menteri besar if necessary. It may not be used immediately. If this option is used and Anwar becomes menteri besar, then Khalid can still play a very key role in Selangor. I believe Khalid will still want to contribute his wisdom to Pakatan and Selangor.

I WONDER?: Khalid Ibrahim has undeniably proven to be a very good and most efficient menteri besar to Selangor. He is a corporate specialist in his own field. Unfortunately, he is not the politician with high political wisdom, which we need at the national level.

In present day politics, we need not only a good CEO to manage Selangor, but also a truly experienced and tough national politician to withstand the constant onslaught of many dirty tricks from the Umno. Khalid Ibrahim is good man, but not experienced and tough enough to stand up against Umno.

If all of us are yearning to overwhelm the ever most corrupt BN regime, then Anwar Ibrahim undeniably and undoubtedly at present may be the only man who can unite all and lead us to victory, whether one likes it or not.

This Selangor saga is part and parcel of the strategy that Pakatan unavoidably has to take for the sake of its macro-ambition for the people. Let’s be united to ensure its eventual victory.
