Baram Dam blockade completes 100 days

A group of indigenous people blocking the proposed site of the controversial Baram Dam project in Sarawak completed 100 days of their protest on Thursday, Jan 30, during which they prevented all heavy machinery work at the site.

 

Statements by Bruno Manser Fund and the Save Sarawak Rivers Network (Save Rivers) said hundreds of villagers completed the 100 days of the blockade at two important sites of the project.
