Police will continue to hunt for the suspects who broke into the office of a Tamil daily, 'Tamil Malar', in Jalan Ipoh, Dang Wangi police chief ACP Zainuddin Ahmad said today.
He said investigations were conducted based on information provided by the staff as the office was not installed with a closed circuit television camera.
Three men, armed with a machete and iron rod, were said to have broken into the office about 11am last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Tamil Malar managing director SM Periasamy, when contacted by Bernama, said the suspects, who wore full-faced crash helmet, also threatened the staff to stop publishing articles on a spiritual leader.
They also took two handphones and about RM200 from the staff before fleeing, he added.
He said a CCTV would be installed at the office soon.
