Ahmad Shabery Cheek finds opposition MP Teresa Kok’s satirical Chinese New Year video unbecoming of a leader and an “annoying” way to convey her message.

The communications and multimedia minister also felt her video greeting would solicit dangerous responses from the rakyat, as it has caused much anger among various quarters.

“To me, it is annoying, more nauseating and more disgusting. Those are the terms I should use,” Shabery said at a press conference today.

Kok ( left ) is featured in her Chinese New Year clip called "Onederful Malaysia CNY 2014", which was published on YouTube on Jan 27.

The controversial clip showed Kok with her friends posing as three feng shui masters in a political satire, predicting how the Year of the Horse would turn out for Malaysians,

Among the issues touched on were education, a parody of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's 1Malaysia concept and the recent spate of price hikes.

As at 11.12pm, the video has garnered about 212,661 views.
