77 detained over Indonesian-Bangladeshi fight
The police have detained 77 foreigners at a hotel project site in Jalan Teluk Kumbar, Bayan Lepas in George Town to facilitate investigation on a fight involving two Indonesians and a Bangladeshi yesterday.

Barat Daya district police chief Supt Lai Fah Hin said they comprised 28 Indonesians, who included a woman, 34 Bangladeshi and 15 Myanmar nationals.
The foreign nationals, in their 20s and 30s, are workers at the project site, he said when contacted in George Town today.
In yesterday’s incident at 7.20pm, the three foreign nationals involved in the fight sustained injuries on the head, hand and body and were sent to Penang Hospital for treatment.
Lai said all of them were reported in stable condition.
