CiViC: I guess these NGOs must have missed the Chinese saying, "Slaughter chicken for prayers to the Gods".

They just made Seputeh MP Teresa Kok, DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and Machang Bubuk assemblyperson Lee Khai Loon "god-like" icons.

Well done, in demonstrating their stupidity.

Antoine Ross Deliones: Now we are all wasting our energy on those extremists. They thrive on every tiny little opportunity to stir up racial sentiments and to bring up the worse of every Malaysians.

The kangkung protest by Lee and the Chinese New Year video by Kok are exactly what the extremists are looking for to pursue their goal. The best strategy is just simply to starve them of such opportunities.

If there are important issues to be brought up, let's bring them up positively in a mature way. This may not stop the extremists from their mischievous activities, but at least we do not have to waste our energy on trivialities like arguments over whether kangkungs were really stuffed into the mouth of PM Najib Razak or not and over who the characters in the video really are.

If we have to confront the extremists, we should do so in a serious and positive way on the ground of our own choosing, not being dictated by them.

Multi Racial: Let me guess. The police will not take action against these people. And our national leaders will not utter a word against these people. It’s a shame the depths this country has descended to.

Vanity: Not very long ago, it was the cow that became the victim in Shah Alam. Now the chickens.

Can we blame this morons for thinking they will get away easily as that is what is going to happen? How do we blame them when national leaders have demonstrated similar nonsense?

Why can't they see the leaders they refer to as Malaysian leaders and not just leaders of the Malay race? Why must they be so myopic and narrow-minded? Are they trying to fan racial hatred and trigger bloodshed?

Cry, My Beloved Country: The organisations involved are known, some of the participants are identified. Will the police take action? Where is the IGP (inspector-general of police)? Where is the home minister?

Is the prime minister maintaining a deafening silence "not to make things worse"? Does he not have in himself the authority to stop this madness?

Pakatan Supporter: I guess these jokers did not apply for a permit to rally within the required period, no licence to slaughter chickens and their actions amounted to threats and doing bodily harm. Let's see what our Umno leaders are going to say. I cry for Malaysia.

Chee Hoe Siew: I really don't know if this is what the Quran has taught them because they are acting like uncivilised pre-historical men. I mean what have the chickens done to deserve this tragic death?

Did this bunch of loonies even consider respecting life itself? Not to mention, the protest is meaningless and serves to provoke hatred. The irony is that it did not succeed. They would really need to upgrade themselves on propaganda tactics.

Kawak: I pity the chickens. They have to suffer and die when they have nothing to do with the issue at hand.

I just wonder what Islamic ritual prayers they have to offer to the chickens since they are not slaughtered for their meat to be eaten but for venting anger.

Agape: These people need to be apprehended and sent for therapy and anger management.

They also need to learn to read and think and see things from a bigger perspective (understand that not everyone will have the same views or opinions) before they implode or explode and cause regrettable damage. Stay calm and eat more kangkung.

If they cannot differentiate between Najib/Umno and the Malay community at large, they are bloody idiots.

The various communities in Malaysia have no problem with one another. It has all been created by Umno through their so-called NGOs.

It’s time we get rid of Umno and all our problems will be solved and it will be pre-Mahathir days again.

Foodforthought: The saddest part is they have no idea how many Malaysians want to slap them in their faces now, and for free.
