SenyumUnta: Now even criminals dare to 'bomb' a police station! Criminals don't fear the police any more. What about us people on the streets? Please look at the root cause and start doing what you are supposed to do: fighting crime.

Abasir: The plan to destabilise Penang and Selangor with orchestrated attacks is clearly under way. The stony silence and recently acquired impotence of the police are equally telling. The ones to gain by this subversion of elected governments are the same ones who gained by the planning and killing of Altantuya Shaaribu. Someone is clearly pulling out all stops to cling on.

SpongeBob: A self-created drama to portray that the non-Malays are causing racial tension. This is to deviate the rakyat's attention away from the corruption practised at every level of government and Umno.

Hplooi: It would be quite easy to analyse the 'bomb' used in this episode and the 'bomb' thrown at churches. Again, it would not be difficult to analyse the banners used in the chicken-blood escapade with the ‘A’ banners hung near churches. Forensic investigation may perhaps lead to definitive conclusions of a common party?

Swipenter: Those failing to incite the Christians and non-Muslims to react forcefully against their blatant provocations are now resorting to provoking the police. The question is, why?

RATBATBLUE: It is quite obvious that opposition states are being targeted with this form of mischief, as the most recent instances show. Perhaps the restraint shown by those supposed to be provoked is irking the provocateurs and now they are upping the ante and going for public facilities, even though initially on a small scale.

If no punitive action is taken now, these incidents are bound to escalate in frequency and intensity. Maybe by attacking a police station the provocateurs are "thumbing their noses" at the authorities. Hospitals, schools in session, marketplaces, airports and filled sports venues may also be fair game for them.

The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) must come down hard on the culprits, whoever they may be and regardless of their political/religious status, since a PDRM establishment has been involved. I am afraid this may be the beginning of anarchy in our country, and with such a weak leadership, only God can help us.

RR: In any democratic country the police, army and civil service must be neutral and judicious in their execution of responsibilities, without fear or favour. But in Malaysia, we see that the police are blatantly biased against any one critical of the Umno-BN government.

MP Teresa Kok's case is a classic example. With the ‘Allah’ issue so critical now, the bombing of the police station could be the work of daring fanatics belonging to a small section out to create hatred among people of different races/religions. The Christians or minority races would not dare do such a thing in this country.

Bystander: Why are all these happening in Pakatan-controlled states, especially Penang and Selangor? They out out to destabilise the states and blame these episode on the non-Muslims and Christians so that it will give them excuse or reasons to take it to the next step of violence!

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak would be looked upon as not being able to control and contain such upheavals and be forced to step down! The greater devils are waiting to move in, very soon!

Kawak: The Christians themselves put the ‘Allah’ banner in front of the churches and threw Molotov bombs into their own compound. And now they have thrown explosives into the police station.

This story line appears to be planned and executed by a group of people to create havoc and destabilise the Pakatan-led governments. The same people are also the doing similar things in Selangor. Who are these people? It is not difficult to pinpoint them.

Fair&Just: Yesterday was a festival day for the Hokkien people of Penang. Perhaps it was only somebody playing with firecrackers, or is there a more sinister move to take over the government of Penang?

Antoine Ross Deliones: It seems that extremists are desperate to create unrest, after a few unsuccessful attempts. The authorities must act swiftly on this. In a few days' time, we may see one well-known figure coming up defending the act of those extremists, saying that they were provoked into this by other "extremists".

Peace-loving Malaysians tired of all this game-playing should send out a clear message that those inciting violence must be brought to book and that politicians who are prepared to "burn Rome" for their own selfish gains have no place in Malaysia.

Anonymous #19098644: If the police spend even a fraction of the time they spend investigating and solving such challenges to the law rather, than wasting time on nonsense as to whether Teresa Kok 's Chinese New Year video is treason or not, then we would not have such incidents.

We know who the beneficiaries of this incidents are. It’s an open secret. Will there be action? Will there be resolution? Not if it starts from the rotting fish head.

Kamal19: I think it is merely a perception. Even if it is true, should the police wait for a report to be filed before they start investigations? It’s the standard operating procedure (SOP)!

Odin: The party that threw the device at the police station comprises, in alphabetical order, a Chinese, a Christian, a Freemason member, a Jew and a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) person. Case solved and file closed.
