Azmin: Khalid using state powers against rivals

Pemerhati: Since all sorts of serious allegations are being made, Pakatan Rakyat has to carry out an urgent and thorough investigation to find out why it was necessary to employ all the contract workers, how they were selected, who employed them and why their services were terminated.

If investigations reveal and confirm that Selangor PKR chief Azmin Ali or any other Pakatan member was the one that hired these highly paid cronies to milk the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS), then Pakatan should quickly get rid of these dangerous, Umno-type people.

These people are then likely to become frogs, like Perkasa vice-president Zulkifli Noordin, and make nasty statements against Pakatan so as to please their new Umno masters and earn some more crumbs. That should not bother Pakatan, since no one will pay any attention to these corrupt and crooked Umno types.

If Pakatan now just keeps quiet and does not reveal everything in a transparent manner, then it would be a great disappointment to all Malaysians who believe that Pakatan is significantly different from the extremely corrupt and crooked BN.

Anonymous #06188481: The truth is Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim has had enough of Azmin Ali-Anwar Ibrahim's nonsense that he no longer can stomach it further. There is a limit to one's tolerance.

Khalid has been trying to accommodate their politicking for the sake of unity in PKR and not to betray the trust of Selangorians who have voted Pakatan as the state government. But the time has come to call a spade a spade.

Khalid is throwing the dice, and letting it fall where it may. It’s time to bite the bullet and take the bull by the horns. Anyway, people trust him more than Anwar and Azmin combined. DAP and PAS are only spectators - useless.

Sad: It looks like finally we citizens are being fooled by these politicians. PKR leaders had better settle their internal problems and stop washing dirty linen in public.

If these kinds of squabbles continue, don't be surprise if Anwar loses the by-election simply because the voters do not want to be taken for granted anymore.

Enough is enough. If PKR loses, blame your own ‘team’. Don't end with a U-turn when you are at the gates of Putrajaya.

You seem to be the one who should take the blame. You seem to be the one who is playing with public coffers in search of personal loyalties. Khalid appears as a saviour and you the abuser. Don't you get that?

Anonymous #37634848: Azmin, I admired your loyalty to the party. I can't understand why you have to dig up the PKNS issue in public. It looks like you are actually sabotaging the ‘Kajang Move’. Be wise and discuss matters internally.

Your present action also shows the public perception that you are the cause of all these troubles is correct. Think of the voters and other allies in Pakatan. Don't cause your party’s destruction.

RR: The way you PKR chaps are fighting from within, you can forget about capturing Putrajaya for now or ever. You all have forgotten the greater goal for self-interest and selfishness.

This is another lip-service form of politics, with no heart for the rakyat who want a change to get rid of corruption and abuse of power in this country.

Anonymous #06188481: We shall not vote for Anwar if he is not about to chastise Azmin. Such a spineless leader. It baffles me as to why Azmin can't be disciplined, like all party members are subjected to.

All the more, it is very clear now that the ‘Kajang Move’ is everything about PKR’s internal feud and nothing about setting a foothold in Putrajaya.

While we have a gargantuan battle ahead for Anwar in the by-election, this selfish and self-centred Azmin is creating more reasons for the people not to vote for Pakatan.

He has no wisdom nor understanding of issues at hand and certainly no perspective of the political war in this country. All he cares about is ‘me, myself and I’.

PSM, please offer the rakyat an alternative candidate. Waterloo is waiting for Anwar.

1960's: It is a business decision to maximise efficiency and profitability. Do not mix politics with business, or else we will have more redundancies that any well-managed company will avoid. Yes, it is cruel, but the good of the company, or country, must come first.

Khalid has years of corporate and private sector experience and will understand these needs. It appears that Azmin is a career politician. It is expected Azmin perceived this is political and not business. If that is the case, leave business to business people.

Oracle: Why has PKR the tendency to self-implode? The highly regarded and honest MB acted not to renew the employment of contract staff at the end of their contract period. These staff members, who were paid exorbitant salaries which were far above salary scales to boot, can, if they feel aggrieved, seek legal recourse. Period.

Anyway, that is a wise move at a time when citizens are facing great financial hardship. Now, a petty, squabbling, overly ambitious and totally selfish leader of PKR is using this laudable move to publicly quarrel and apparently seek revenge against the MB.

Has not PKR repeatedly said any grievance must be taken up internally and not undermine party stability by going public?

Azmin, don't you realise that you are giving valuable ammunition to BN on the eve of the Kajang by-election, and for the future? Whatever it is, it is clear now: Azmin has to be summarily thrown out from the only party that the majority of Malaysians have pinned their hopes on.

 

Bobster: It is better for Anwar to lose in Kajang because of his blue-eyed boy Azmin than to win, and thereafter drag down the entire Pakatan during the next general election (GE).

PK: If ever there is a rot within PKR, then let it progress naturally until that rotting part is taken off. Eventually, the truth will surely be revealed and those who prioritise themselves before the rakyat shall be known and exposed.

Integrity, transparency, and accountability shall not only be based on manifestoes. Let those with integrity have courage; those practising transparency be brave, and those who are accountable be gracious enough to accept the truth.                             

Let's not "play politics" as the rakyat is no longer the same rakyat as when these interested politicians entered the arena for the first time. The rakyat have eyes and minds of their own.
