Liow blames Anwar for causing Ops Lalang

 

Wg321: Who was the prime minister in 1987 during Operation Lalang? Was it Anwar Ibrahim or Dr Mahathir Mohamad? MCA chief Liow Tiong Lai insists that Anwar was the one responsible for Ops Lalang, just like he insisted that the police did not fire tear gas into Tung Shin Hospital during Bersih 2.0 despite all the evidence in the Internet.

Who has the final say on Ops Lalang? Of course, it is the prime minister.

 

Fair Play: Liow would definitely become 'Bo Liow' (irrelevant) after the Kajang by­election. Blaming Anwar for Ops Lalang in 1987, while MCA has remained impotent from the period of 1987 to 2014 ­ a gap of 27 years, only goes to show MCA is totally irrelevant to the Chinese community.

Only a blind, deaf, dumb and totally foolish Malaysian would still believe in MCA and their boot­licking in asking (or begging) for a few crumbs.

 

Hello: If Anwar was the cause of Ops Lalang, then MCA was his accomplice! Why? Because MCA submitted tamely to his decision without any vociferous dissent.

And why? Because MCA for selfish reasons wanted to remain in government to fill its ministers' pockets. Now, who is the greater sinner to the Chinese community?

 

1Mockery: As far as I can remember Anwar was never a home minister at any time when he was in Umno. How could he overrule the power of the home minister to order Ops Lalang? What more when the home minister at that material time was none other than the prime minister himself.

 

Ace: What an idiotic joker. So Mahathir was innocent? Talking of "teaching a lesson", the rakyat had already taught MCA a lesson but they have not learned.

 

Justice Pao: The real culprit is none other than the senile old man himself ­ Mahathir. This Liow guy really has no brains just as what his predecessor mentioned .

 

Anonymous$&@?: MCA is really sorry for being a human being. They are talking as if they have no hand on the demise of the Chinese or education in general. It's because of MCA being a lapdog to Umno, and because they only care for their own pockets that is the cause of this.

So MCA has no right to talkÍž they should better shut up and go to their grave quietly to save whatever dignity they have now after selling off the Chinese for the past 50 over years.

Liow is still stuck in 1987. As a chief running dog, you must defend Umno's excesses and henceforth a ministerial post is awaiting you.

 

Ex­PJ: You have to wonder why MCA continues to behave like this. It was insulted by PM Najib Razak for needing Viagra and still they continue to 'angkat' Umno. MCA should learn from the experience of Hindraf.

 

Rushmore: Liow, I know you want to win the by­election badly. But you don't have to resort to character assassination and racialise things. Be a gentleman and tell us what you can offer to the voters and work to unite than divide the people. I don't think you will ever get it, Liow.

 

Appum: A piece of advice, Liow. I'm sure the Chinese will appreciate it better if you can tell them what MCA can do for them instead of blaming your opposition candidate for all the ills in this country. Remember, never to insult the intelligence of the Kajang voters.

 

Versey: Liow, even from the more recent events ­ Tung Shin Hospital being tear gassed by the PDRM during Bersih 2.0, the extensive use of cyanide in the Raub gold mine, the setting up of the rare earth plant in Pahang, the shipping out of rare earth waste and even up to your party's decision of refusal to be included in the cabinet as a threat to the Chinese community (the ballot papers told you clearly that we don't give a damn), you seemed to be sleeping all through.

It seems you could be waken up only by the "out of cabinet position" alarm clock.

 

Vgeorgemy : I always wonder why the Chinese have a very low opinion of MCA. Now it is very clear: NCA leaders have no love for their community's betterment.

 

Meh: Liow, what do you want to attack Anwar for? At least he is not anti­Chinese as Umno is. I am amazed why MCA continues to want to associate with a party like Umno who is openly anti­Chinese.

Look at statements made by Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Perkasa, their proxy. Look at statements made by Anwar. Has he said anything anti­Chinese? MCA, please know where your future lies.

 

Disgusted: They can cook up nonsense from time to time just to salvage their standing with the rakyat, like a drowning man clutching at a straw. Liow says, "I believe the voters will teach him (Anwar) a lesson this time." We will see if his prediction comes true or MCA gets an even bigger thrashing.

 

Doc: May as well blame Anwar for MCA's dismal showing in GE13. Hell, may as well blame Anwar for global warming.
