CiViC: Perkasa was never expected to attend the National Unity Consultative Council's (NUCC) dialogue session. If they had not been invited, Perkasa would have condemned NUCC instead.

Hero325: Why must we pay attention to Perkasa, it should not have been invited in the first place. The unity council has committed a big mistake - with organisations like Perkasa, Malaysians cannot talk about unity.

 

Malaysians have to survive on disunity, if we buy Perkasa's ideas. Just ignore these people. But then to the opposition parties, whatever Perkasa does must be linked to Umno, because nobody can take over Putrajaya without defeating Umno.

 

So you could see how Umno has been indiscriminately targeted, wrongly or rightly, all because it is the largest party in this country.

 

Well Thats Fantastic: Perkasa makes an issue of gays, but whom a person loves has no bearing whatsoever on how good or bad they are at any task/career/job. Look at Perkasa's chief, he is a racial bigot and would be so, regardless of the gender of his partner.

Look at any picture of Perkasa rallies. The faces say it all: anger, hate, ugliness all stemming from ignorant bigotry. They would only shout down any argument at best. So it was for the best that they declined the invitation.

 

DevilsSlaughter: NUCC, please forget Perkasa. Perkasa is a group set up by Satan to champion extremism based on racism, using religion and the royalty as their hypocritical shields. They are the obstacles towards national unity. And their ugly shows are disgusting. Please don't waste time on such groups. Perkasa is only the baby of Umno, which is immune to police action.

James TCLow Penang CM Lim Guan Eng, you have no choice. This is a case of the Pakatan Penang government versus BN, the police, the judiciary and pro‑BN pressure groups. But take solace that you can forget/ignore the cat and the dog i.e. Gerakan and MCA.

 

Kawak I was with an enforcement agency for over 30 years. The director-generals or the enforcement agency heads or state directors generally want to be seen as supporting the Umno-BN government or seen as anti opposition.

 

All this is done to make sure they are in the good books of the ministers or PM so that they get promoted or get their tenure extended when they reach retirement. All for personal interests.

 

Too Lan Couldn't they at least make a show of investigation and do not make it so obvious that our police are not so biased?

 

Mat Salleh So sad to see the PRDM, which is supposed to be fair and impartial when keeping the peace of the nation, behaving like double‑headed snakes. If a non-Malay had made those statements and postings, they would have spent seven days in the lockup, vilified by Umno, Utusan Malaysia, TV3, RTM, The Star. New Straits Times etc and been charged under the Sedition Act by now.

 

But because the two clowns are Muslims, the PRDM won't touch them. How long do you think Malaysia will remain peaceful if things continue like this? Three months? Six months? One year?

 

Well, I am not keen to find out. I have liquidated all my assets (except for the house I stay in and my car), broken my fixed deposits, withdrawn my EPF and sent the entire proceeds to Singapore.

 

Never mind the exchange rate, at least my hard‑earned money will be safe from the Umno thieves and my kids can safely continue their education overseas. Sorry Malaysia but I don't for a minute believe that non-Malays will be safe here as long as the Umno scum are around.

 

Maju Lim, actually we know the truth better so don't worry so much as the people are smarter now compared to 1960s. We have the technology now. Let them play with such rumours as now whatever they say, we know it's just to provoke.

 

All their lies are not effective anymore as we just think they are some bunch of clowns from the circus. We just laugh it away as we have better things to do.

 

Samurai : These 'you know who' troublemakers are still living in the dark ages. They try unsuccessfully to instigate riots not realising these days, we do not need to fight or take up arms against the instigators, we just post our views on Facebook or Twitter and the whole world would know the truth, so why fight with them? Onyourtoes: Lim, not to worry, they are doing it too often; I think its effectiveness is gone. Please just continue educating our people, Malays and non‑Malays, Muslims and non‑Muslims. We are talking about instant communication and information nowadays. They can't continue lying; it will boomerang to them soon.

 

True_Malaysian: Umno has a problem. They are greedy and obsessed for power and cannot accept the DAP administration. Everybody knows this but Pakatan needs to continue their good work. Focus on the good of the nation and the people.

Kit P It is all a matter of priorities. The police's investigative priorities seem to be defined by Perkasa.
