YOURSAY  ‘Anwar's been a catalyst, but real change must come from the rest.’

No tears, move on, Wan Azizah tells Pakatan

Mushiro: There is strength and powerful spirits in PKR chief Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. She is not asking for sympathy from this cruel regime and neither is she expecting fairness at all.

But in spite of this she is focussing PKR and Pakatan for the tough war ahead. It is déjà vu but Wan Azizah will do it better this time with all the forces of PKR, Pakatan and the 52 percent of the rakyat backing her.

Clever Voter: The PKR leadership must rise up without Anwar. he has been a catalyst for change, but real change must come from the rest. Let Kajang be the landmark for change, and the beginning of the end of this corrupt regime. Everything happens for a reason.

Rick Teo: Wan Azizah should contest in Kajang to show how the people feel about Anwar Ibrahim's conviction. PKR should field Wan Azizah as the candidate for Kajang.

Onyourtoes: "We are united now and this is our strength. Let us not be split. Do not ever think you are alone in this struggle. We are together", this is the best statement, Wan Azizah.

I hope Azmin Ali and Abdul Khalid Ibrahim heard this. Look, the struggle is far more than for Anwar and individual leaders. It is for the survival of this country. We the people got nowhere else to go. Can you fellows get it?

CQ Muar: Way to go, Dr Wan Azizah, Despite your heartache and disappointment you show such immense courage against adversaries. Such are attributes and qualities of true and dedicated leadership, unlike those in the ruling government under Umno.

God is great and in His divine power will eventually bless good over evil. Thus, under such unfortunate climate we will all find courage to put things in order under your leadership. We stand united and invincible. God bless you and family.

Muhibbah: Most of us don't believe in the sodomy charges against Anwar. The facts are there for all to see. History will prove his innocence in time to come. Have a 'black book' to list the conspirators. Put them on trial when Pakatan forms the federal government. Time is not the essence. Justice must be served.

Apa Nama: Wan Azizah, you are an Iron Lady of Malaysia. We salute you for your courage and resilience.

Too Lan: Years from today when GE14 has been won by Pakatan, and when we look back, this day will be known as the backbreaker, the day the fence sitters turned against BN. It is so obvious and so blatant that even the blind can see the injustice.

Anonymous #70881335: Anwar will become a symbol and inspiration for the opposition to unite and fight for justice and equality and against corruption. Malaysia can live. Hidup Malaysia.

SS Dhaliwal: We tried diplomacy, peaceful demonstrations and protests but failed to unseat this parasite called BN/Umno through fair and democratic means, so what now?

Everyone knows the answer but will Malaysians come out of their comfort zone and seek to restore justice and to save Malaysia from certain disaster at the hands of Umno?

Fair Play: Puan Wan Azizah, you and your family had suffered untold injustice. However, be strong as you had advised the Pakatan Rakyat coalition.

Man's victory over another in a way that is completely devoid of morality is only temporary. There is such a thing called judgement day that each and every one of us will have to face.

Anonymous #33877536: Why make this family suffer for their political standing. If you are strong, fight him man to man, not put him in jail for a stupid charge.

Continue-The-March: Umno Baru just hammered in their final nail of their own coffin. In 1999, due to the sacking and black-eye of Anwar, Malays voters abandoned Umno Baru in droves.

Umno Baru was saved by the non-Malay votes. Now with the Sodomy II rehash. Umno Baru will be doomed with the combined Malays, Chinese and Indian votes abandoning BN/Umno Baru all at once.

James TCLow: Sweat and tears will dry. Azizah's courage will never die. The rakyat may have to sigh. But our anger shall make Umno run with their tails between their thighs.

Thana55: What class. What dignity. What stature. What tenacity. You are our hero!

Umno's script on Sodomy II played out in court

Legit: Things don't look good at all for this country. The injustice done to this man is so grave that the people of Malaysia and whoever associated with it had to pay for it with their lives. And believe me, the worst is yet to come!

The wolves are running wild ravaging the country until everything will be destroyed and there is no saviour is in sight. God bless this nation.

Headhunter: You know who is the victim here? The country's justice system. It has been buggered by people at the highest level in the judiciary.

James TCLow: BN will be checkmated in GE14 but it is a long wait for judgment day. What will happen in between now and 2018 is anyone's guess. Pakatan will be around but will Anwar and DAP chairperson Karpal Singh survive that long in jail?

Anonymous_40f4: The Federal Court is not going to be any different. Malaysia claims it is a democracy, got High Court lah, got Appeals Court lah, got Federal Court lah, got Palace of Justice lah. But do they dispense justice?

Onyourtoes: We must insist that MCA’s Chew Mei Fun and prospective Independent candidate Zaid Ibrahim withdraw their candidacies. We must make them understand that the contest is meaningless now.

We must impress upon them that the by election is not about that state assembly seat or Anwar becoming menteri besar. It is about Malaysia's dignity. It is about Malaysians wanting to redeem our freedom and to get rid of feudalism, tyranny, stupidity, and backwardness.
