Messages of hope and support for the safe return of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 continue to be penned on banners at the KL International Airport (KLIA) Observation Desk.

Checks by Bernama showed that the messages were written not only in Malay and English, but also in Mandarin, Tamil and French.

Among the messages were "Agama kita berlainan tapi doa kita satu. Doa buat MH370" (We may have different religions, but we say the same prayer. Pray for MH370), "Hope is like thin air, you can't feel it, but we know it's there. Don’t stop praying" and "Praying for miracle, come back MH370".

A message scribbled by a French tourist reads: "On est de tout coeur avec vous. Qu'allah soit avec vous (We are wholeheartedly with you. May Allah be with you).

    

"La planète entière vous recherche, la planète entière pense à vous. Homage anx passager et membres de MH370. Puisse la vérité surgir (The entire planet is searching for you, the entire planet is thinking of you. Homage to passengers and crew of MH370. Truth will prevail)," were the words penned by the tourist known only as Bruno.

The Beijing-bound Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, with 227 passengers and 12 crew on board disappeared about an hour after leaving KLIA at 12.41 am on March 8. It was scheduled to arrive in Beijing at 6.30 am on the same day.

The fate of the passengers is unknown as the multi-national search for the aircraft has so far drawn a blank.
