Old Timer: Really, our people don't know how to be united and behave themselves at a time like this, when time stands still for so many families just waiting for news of their loved ones.  

This type of behaviour is shown by our government in excluding the opposition coalition in updates, besides causing confusion with all kinds of 'factual' changes and operational delays, and newspapers hinting that MH370 pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah’s lifetime membership in PKR is somehow an issue.  

Bigger things are involved; does it really matter if Zaharie is somehow related to Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s family by marriage?

WDA: What Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (PKR candidate for Kajang) meant was that there is no relation between Anwar's sentencing and the disappearance of flight MH370 purportedly linked to Zaharie.

I am sure Wan Azizah, of all people, knows it is no crime or shame to be related to someone who has been accused of a crime.  

Umno Youth exco member Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz is also related in some way to Anwar Ibrahim and Zaharie if he believes we are all descendants of Adam and Eve.  

Doesn't he also know it is wrong to judge another person so quickly and to unfairly smear this truly pious tudung-clad loyal lady?

It would have been more productive for him to focus his scrutiny on RMAF (Royal Malaysian Air Force) that may have been caught napping while an unidentified aircraft penetrated our sovereign airspace.  

This is critical and needs to be urgently addressed because it involves national security. Because of this oversight and the Lahat Datu incident, we have publicised to the entire world that our defences are weak.

Paul Tino: My father has seven biological brothers and another five stepbrothers and also some godbrothers.

The point is we hardly keep in touch with one another. If one day I become a world famous billionaire, will it be a surprise if someone I never met claims to be my uncle?

TrueMalaysian: I have two daughters-in-laws, but honestly I do not know all their uncles. But then, what is the relevance in this case? All of us continuing to pray for MH370 - that is more relevant.

Wira: What's so surprising? I also don't remember all the uncles of my son-in-law even though we met at the wedding reception. It could be that Kak Wan Azizah was just being honest.

Voiceless: Indeed, how many people can remember off-hand all the uncles, aunties of their daughter-in-law?

Wg321: After 10 days, the world’s aviation experts still cannot find the cause of MH370’s disappearance. Suddenly Tun Faisal has found out why the plane MH370 is missing.  

This is because Zaharie, the pilot of the ill-fated plane, is connected to Anwar by marriage - the pilot is his daughter-in-law’s uncle.  

            

Therefore, Anwar is the cause of the missing plane. And Perkasa, Isma, Umno and Zaid Ibrahim should quickly make police reports against Anwar.

Armageddon: Is Tun Faisal speculating? I thought the government had issued a stern warning against people speculating what went wrong with MH370. Or it is okay to speculate as long as it hurts Pakatan?

Onyourtoes: At first I had my doubts the renegade regime would stoop so low to link Anwar to MH370. I thought minimal decency and respect for those on board the flight would have prevented them from doing such a despicable thing.  

Now I am beginning to believe the bankrupt and depraved regime and their sidekicks will do whatever to score points and blame the opposition even when relatives and friends of those on board MH370 are still grieving.  

I think I have hundreds of relatives through marriages that I may not be aware of. Here Anwar and Kak Azizah are supposed to know everything. I have many uncles of my daughters-in-law whom I have not met.  

By the way, to investigate if the pilot or co-pilot committed suicide is like postulating Teoh Beng Hock committed suicide while under MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) interrogation.

Sinner: There is no need to disown Captain Zaharie if he is related. However, an Umno guy is raising this issue. He’d better go defend his boss Premier Najib Abdul Razak against the much more serious criticism from the world for mishandling the MH370 investigation.

Sali Tambap: That's no proof of lying. She could very well not know her daughter-in-law's uncle.

Justice Pao: This guy probably knows nuts about Malaysian culture. The salesgirl at the counter, be it Malay, Chinese or Indian, will call me uncle. Does that mean the salesgirl is related to me?  

Even if Anwar knows him or he is a PKR member, does that mean that he is guilty of crashing the plane?  

He might be in fact the hero who was sending secret hints to our incompetent authorities and Air Force who may not have helped him avoid this disaster. A lot of ‘ifs’ here, and these Umno liars will do anything to blame Anwar.

Armchair Newspaper: Being captured in same photo made Anwar related to the pilot, and Wan Azizah a liar? This is Umno’s version of guilty by association, even before investigations can prove that the pilot caused the plane’s disappearance.

Very logical and methodical deduction, Umno-style. No wonder the world is still looking for the plane.
