BALINGIAN Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has launched its ‘Keadilan for Balingian’ slogan as its battle cry for the Balingian state by-election.

Sarawak PKR vice-president See Chee How said the slogan would be the party’s central theme when campaigning in the constituency with focus on problems faced by Balingian residents, especially those involving education and environment.

“Although we are the underdog coampared with Barisan Nasional (BN), we hoped that at least we can reduce the winning majority by BN,” he told a news conference in Mukah today.

PKR’s Abdul Jalil Bujang is facing former Dalat district officer, Yussibnosh Balo of BN in a straight fight in the by-election.

Polling for the by-election has been fixed on March 29.
