DAP stickers on mosques done by usual suspects

YOURSAY ‘They never think twice about defiling a mosque for cheap politics.’

DAP stickers plastered on mosques in psy-war

Basically: The mentality behind this act betrays itself. DAP would never do such a stupid thing as deface a mosque, knowing well that even if they sneezed in front of one, Utusan Malaysia would headline ‘DAP insulting Islam’.

And the fact that it is a PKR candidate contesting in the Kajang by-election, not DAP’s, defies common sense. Only people without any common sense would do this, and we all know who that is most likely to be.

Imagine, pretending to be Islamic and defending Islam, but they never seem to think twice about defiling a mosque for cheap politics.

Ratbatblue: This appears as a crude attempt to play on the sentiments of the neutral Malays, to make them upset, thus possibly encouraging them to vote for the ruling party.

Pakatan = PKR + PAS + DAP, get it! It is not rocket science that when leaflets of a predominantly Chinese political party are pasted in a locale which is frequented almost exclusively by Malays (for example, a mosque), the intention is to rile the Malays, and to make them think seriously about giving their precious vote to a coalition of which that (Chinese) party is a component.

This is the baseline, scraping the bottom of the barrel of racial politics to get people to support them. It is also meant for those who believe in such racial communalism, everything is race-based.

This racialism was amply demonstrated by the "statutory rape" comment by a prominent member of the ruling cabinet recently.

Bboonpou: Dear Umno members, especially those who profess to be educated and sensible, and those who are feeling ashamed of the desperate attempts of your party leaders to win back the support of the rakyat by resorting to such despicable acts to paint their enemies with.

Please speak up and tell your desperate Umno leaders to stop and no longer taint their ill-measures in your names. Their desperate measures are not only shameful but totally immoral.

To put it simply, the stunts they are doing to incite racial and religious hatred will only fool school children. It is really embarrassing to have to witness how low these Umno leaders and their goons can go.

The MAS Flight MH370 crisis has attracted international attention to the circus that has existed in Malaysia for way too long. This episode of putting DAP stickers on Mosques is just another joke on Umno that is only going to grow as it gets more and more desperate.

It is truly sad for a political organisation that once had true leaders.

Fair&Just: Malu, malu, malu (shame, shame, shame). This racist regime can only know how to bully, oppress, suppress and intimidate the minorities and incite racial hatred to maintain their nasty grip on power.

When faced with international people and press, they behave like their pants are slipping down and exposing all their ineptness to the whole world.

Single Malt: Umno Baru is now synonymous with dirty politics. The whole country knows. Let them do whatever they want. People are no longer stupid. Whatever they do now will backfire on them. They fear their own shadows. This is the law of karma.

Anon1: Even a stupid person would know that it is a PKR candidate from Pakatan Rakyat who is standing in Kajang and not a DAP candidate. But the far more stupid ones who were involved in this act would not know.

Change We Will: MCA candidate Chew Mei Fun, with coalition partners such as these, who needs enemies? You are done in by your own comrades.

Kim Quek: This is really shameful - Election Commission (EC) officials taking down hundreds of PKR banners and billboards in the darkness of dawn, without any justifiable grounds.

What has the EC become - a hive of Umno henchmen out to sabotage Pakatan’s election campaign?

Isn’t this a serious election offence? More so, when it is committed by the EC itself, which is supposed to be an impartial enforcer of election laws whose duty is precisely to nab election saboteurs like these.

Pakatan campaigners should disseminate such EC offences to the voters of Kajang, so that they will teach the offending party a proper lesson through their votes to discourage similar offences in future.

Gerard Lourdesamy: The more that Umno-BN agitates with the connivance of the EC, the more voters are getting repulsed by the BN candidate. What is provocative or seditious about the PKR posters? The EC has time and again proven to be a poodle of Umno-BN.

What about Umno's provocative messages on race and religion? The fact that they are now resorting to vile slander and racial sentiments seems to have escaped the EC whose only role, it seems, is to ensure Malay/Muslim domination of the government under Umno, according to the previous EC chairperson and now Perkasa member.

Disgusted: BN again resorting to slander and cheating to win in elections. It is only a by-election.

Wait till the next general election (GE). There will be massive and blatant cheating like never before unless the EC is changed and be impartial and independent.

Wira: MCA president Liow Tiong Lai, the same guy(s) who plastered DAP logos in the mosque also splashed paint on Chew's poster. You share a bed with those rascals. I think you know who they are.

Onyourtoes: How low can these scumbags go? I suggest Malay Pakatan MPs, assemblypersons and leaders go to the mosques now to explain. These despicable people are worse than the mafia fighting a turf war.
