Najib would “fly in (to Manila) and fly out the same day” tomorrow, said Philippine Foreign Department spokesperson Charles Jose.
The Malaysian premier is facing a crisis at home over a Malaysian plane carrying 239 people thought to have crashed at sea.
The Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro to be signed in Manila with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front is a roadmap for a new Muslim autonomous region called Bangsamoro or Muslim Nation by 2016.
It is being signed after 17 years of negotiations held under five different presidents and facilitated by Malaysia.
