Probe leaves no mangosteen unturned

Question: How can anyone really know or tell what psychological or personal problems any or all of the missing 227 passengers had or could have had so that the passengers could be "cleared" of them?

My mind can't help boggling at such wonderfully awesome and bombastic skills inspector-general of police (IGP) Khalid Abu Bakar must have if what he says is even a smidgen true.

Anonymous_1395411723: I wish Khalid would use his brilliant mangosteen investigation skills to check who manufactured, bought, sold, packed and shipped the 200kg of lithium-ion batteries on board of the ill-fated MH370, solve death and abuse in police custody cases and those involving incitement and sowing of hatred among races, the missing weapons and guns from police possession and the corruption all around us.

Not Smart: IGP, please be professional about doing your job. You don't have to tell the whole world how you do carry out your investigations, but get it done. Why do you have to talk so in so much detail just on these mangosteens?

Are you trying to deceive the world that you are transparent and open in your investigations by only using these mangosteens as an example? Are you also going to tell the world in as much detail on other areas of your investigations into this crisis?

Are you trying to get sympathy, in case you cannot finish the investigations on time? Don't expose your processes too much, as the world is scrutinising our every move in this crisis.

FellowMalaysian: Why waste time and energy on a load of harmless mangosteens when the cargo manifest showed a potentially deadly crate of the notoriously inflammable lithium-ion batteries ?

It appeared that the police are purposefully trying to divert attention from the media's focus on the batteries. Otherwise, if they are too short of work.

Why not delve intricately into immigration fiasco of how passengers could slip through immigration authorities and board a plane with doctored passports.

What about investigating the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s (RMAF) sloppiness in spotting MH370's 'turn back' over Kota Bharu?

Boycott MSM: Why don't you release the cargo manifest just like you did the transcript of communications between pilots with the air traffic control tower. Then we will know what other fruits were being carried by MH370.

We would never in a million years have thought that the persons who picked the fruit might have had a hand in the disappearance of the plane and all on board.

But we are now inclined to suspect that they have not yet been able to solve the mystery because they stopped at the fruit pickers.

Pahatian: It seems that it is not mangosteen season yet. Can the police name the orchard, the forwarder and invoice for the consignment of mangosteens?

CiViC: I agree it's a long and tedious investigation, even mangosteen needs such detailed checks, but isn't it weird they are so quick to clear Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and the plane itself of any suspicion?

I am beginning to wonder whether racial biases play a part in the condemnation of the authorities by certain segments of the population.

Opah: Dear IGP, what about the lithium-ion batteries as reported? Were you as thorough with your investigation as you were with the mangosteens?

Which truck did they come in? Who packed them? How long were they sitting in the hot sun? Do some relevant investigations and we'll give you the praise you deserve.

B Lee: So very funny, I can’t stop laughing. Did the IGP check how the cargo staff handled the consignment of lithium-ion batteries in the plane?

Since its declared as non-hazardous, did they negligently stacked it together near the engine that might have caused a fire? Go on, check all possibilities.

Gombak: Indeed, the investigation should also include the 200kg of lithium-ion batteries. 200kg? It that a norm or excessive? Why is MAS refusing to release the full cargo manifest?

Sodom Me Sodom You: Dear IGP, you are indeed a consummate professional and clearly haven't left any mangosteen unturned in your investigation but why is the fruit taking precedence in your investigation?

You should investigate the existence of lithium-ion batteries.
