Hisham belies IGP, no one on MH370 cleared yet

 

Ferdtan: Since Defence Minister Hishamuddin had contradicted IGP (inspector-general of police) Khalid Abu Bakar; then he should ask his colleague, Home Minister Zahid Hamidi to remove IGP for the inaccurate reporting that all passengers of missing MH370 were cleared of suspicion.

 

Who is right? Is it IGP or the lead person of the crisis management team?

 

This is yet another flip-flop by the Malaysian authorities. We really want to support our government in their difficult effort to handle the crisis so that people from around the world would stop criticising us.

 

But how, tell us, with this kind of blunders by our appointed officials repeated non-stop from day one of the crisis?

 

Not Smart: Hishammuddin, the reason why you had contradicted the IGP's findings is because you do not have confidence and trust in PDRM's (Royal Malaysian Police’s) investigations.

 

From your past experience as the home minister, you know pretty well how PDRM operates. You are not alone as most of the people too feel the same.

 

How could have PDRM done a thorough investigation over a short period of time, when most of the passengers are from various countries and they do not have 'first-hand information' on all of them?

 

The findings maybe merely on 'hear-say' or 'cut and paste information' basis and thus all are cleared.

 

Odin: Wait a minute. What is Hishammuddin talking about? He told reporters on Saturday that the recordings of MH370's communication with air traffic control (ATC) could not be released for the time being, but four days ago, the ‘Pilot-ATC radiotelephony transcript' was released for public consumption.

 

Did he and his fellow goons inform that the transcript was only part of the whole but the fact was not reported? Or did they refrain from saying whether it was only part of the whole or it was the whole and left it to the reporters to come to their own conclusion?

 

When you get this sort of thing, you can't be blamed if you say that Hishamuddin and the rest are incompetent and hiding something or some things.

 

As to the matter of their inability to determine which of the pilots was speaking, it is a self-inflicted disablement. The solution is utter simplicity - simply get the relatives, spouse, fiancee and children of the pilots to listen to the playback.

 

If you do not want them to hear the entire communication, then take out the least sensitive parts for them to hear. Some simple audio editing software can be used, for goodness' sake.

 

As to the IGP's statement that Hishammuddin now has contradicted, we shouldn't be surprised. Khalid stopped at the fruit pickers.

 

He should have gone further back, to the very beginning of how the mangosteens have come to exist. If he had done that, he would have known the correct answer.

 

Swipenter: Every reason for us to come to the conclusion that the government of Bolehland is running on auto pilot mode.

 

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and vice versa. See how those heads in charge of MH370 investigation contradict each other then, now and probably in the next few days.

 

Abasir: “As I have said before, the search for MH370 should be above politics,” said Hishammuddin.

 

But clearly not "above" enough to have a joint briefing for all parliamentarians instead of an exclusive one for BN representatives at an expensive hotel.

 

On a separate note, shouldn't punitive action be taken against the IGP for deliberately misleading the world when he declared that all passengers had been cleared? I suppose not because misleading is something these fellows do with gay abandon.

 

Remember Department of Civil Aviation chief Azharuddin Abdul Rahman's "Bartoli"-looking Iranians? Or "All Right, Good Night" as the last spoken message? Or off-loading baggage that wasn't loaded in the first place?

 

Maybe misleading is caused by the "unprecedented" nature of this loss?

 

Muhibbah: I tend to believe Hishammuddin rather then Khalid who have proven to speak without substance all the time.

 

Though I'm no BN supporter nor admirer but putting politics aside, I believe Hisham has done a good job to enhance Malaysia's integrity.

 

Anonymous_4031: Who is telling the whole truth; who is telling half-truth; and who is telling a quarter truth?

 

Questions abound:

(1) Why aren't our two submarines used at all?

(2) Why did our leaders take six days to say that the missing plane turned westward?

 

(3) What did the PM mean by saying the plane "ended in the Indian Ocean?"

(4) Did he or did he not say that there were "no survivors"?

 

(5) Did the satellite analysts say that the plane "ended in the Indian Ocean; and that there were no survivors?"

(6) Why did the PM avoid questions form the press in Perth?

(7) How sure are we that the plane "ended in the Indian Ocean?"

 

To this day, the debris did not connect with MH370. Right? So, there is still no 100 percent certainty where the plane is.

 

So, please don't jump into conclusions, please. 239 lives are at stake. Be 100 percent certain before you open your mouth.

 

Amoker: I think Hisham just got back from having tea in Hawaii and did not catch up with IGP. IGP's mangosteen lie would catch up on both of them.

 

Negarawan: After almost one month, they still haven't learn to get their act together.
