Student dies mysteriously at Lunas school
A male student died after fainting while lining up to enter his class at SMK Lunas, Kulim this morning.
Wong Ding Wei, 17, who was immediately rushed to the Kulim Hospital, was pronounced dead at about 8.30am.

According to his father Wong Thean An, 43, he was informed about the incident by a teacher who came to his house abou 8am, before rushing to the hospital to see the youngest of two male siblings in the emergency ward.
"When I arrived at the ward, I found out my child's heart was not beating anymore.
"The doctor then told me my son died on the way (the the hospital)," he told reporters at the hospital's forensics unit.
Wong said his son had never before had any health problems.
Meanwhile, the principal of SMK Lunas, Subberi Ramli, said before the incident, the student had participated in the school's morning assembly.
According to other students, while marching to class, he suddenly experienced muscle spasms before falling unconscious on the floor.
"He was sent to hospital by ambulance and at the time his heart was still beating," Subberi said.
A few days before the incident, the student had told his friends that he was feeling tired, he added.
Meanwhile, Kulim district police chief, Supt Ghuzlan Saleh, when contacted confirmed the incident, adding that they had not received the post-mortem report and that police had classified the case as sudden death.
