YOURSAY ‘Umno is race-blind when it comes to buying supporters.’
New kid on the block to vie for Bukit Gelugor
Cry, My Beloved Country: Penang Front Party (PFP) spokesperson Saw Chong Tatt was accompanied by BN Padang Besar MP Zahidi Zainul Abidin and the party's pro-tem committee chairperson Go Chui Tiong. Meanwhile, Zahidi, who is PFP adviser, said MCA cannot win in Bukit Gelugor.
It is critically important to always remember four main points:
1. Padang Besar BN MP Zahidi Zainul Abidin is the declared adviser.
2. The party adviser says that MCA cannot win.
3. Chinese NGOs wanting to form a political party need a Malay BN MP adviser.
4. Remember how Malaysian Makkal Sakthi Party (MMSP) was formed to steal the march from Hindraf, with a quick registration and a launching by no less than you-know-who.
The Bukit Gelugor electorate in particular, and Penang folk in general, are urged to show BN, MCA, MIC, Gerakan and their sycophants the door out for good. And the proposed PFP could be the doormat to wipe feet on the way out.
Viva Malasia: "We have some supporters there (Bukit Gelugor) so our chances are 50-50."
He meant 50/50 chance to lose deposit? Please stop being a laughing stock. These are probably rejects from MCA/Gerakan.
Supercession: It's good to know Umno is race-blind when it comes to buying supporters and converting these bought supporters into puppets attempting to appear independent.
Takeiteasy: Yes, go ahead with your strategy in the coming by-election. It is okay to give some money as deposit to the government as well as to make the Bukit Gelugor by-election more interesting.
Throw out some money so that the Penang economy can be more versatile - that is all you’ll get for your returns and contribution.
Too Lan: What a bunch of funnies. Sometimes I am amazed how people have the thick skin to go out in public and think the people are so stupid as to even think of supporting them. When they mention BN-friendly then you realise why they are so stupid. All morons think alike.
Dr Chin Tu Lan: The Penang Front Party is a front party for BN. So what’s new?
What are you fighting for? Against DAP? Are you fighting against Malaysia for all Malaysians? Or are you just a bunch of BN proxies barking for attention.
Mushiro: Get Perkasa to join and then it will be a perfect party.
For Our Next Generation: Penangites will be getting free dinners again, courtesy of MCA through PFP.
I hope 1Malaysia NGO will also dish out free meals, so that Penangites have choices which dinner to choose.
A suggestion - one can give out lunch and the other dinner, so that we don't have to cook at all. As you know, barang naik, and we can't find RM1 chicken in Penang.
Sleepy: Thank you. By this act you are actually strengthening DAP, who need not register another party to contest or to 'play politics'.
In other words, show some respect, people are more politically savvy. The same scenario was also played out in Kajang and finally only MCA and PKR were left.
Tangan Kirimu: PFP registers today and tomorrow, it is approved? Clearly, an instant noodle party, and yet somehow the registration of Pakatan Rakyat is still pending.
Appum: At the end of the day, it's all about personal glory and political power, isn't it? It's never about serving the rakyat.
I think you should cut out all the pretensions and just form another mosquito political party, join BN and then contest. It's less nauseating that way.
Kanasai: BN has run out of ideas and is now toying with a new party to confuse the public. Whether it is PFP or MCA, nothing different will come out of it.
Why not state the names of all the 40 NGOs and how many members they have in total?
Relevancy: Forty-four NGOs? One never ceases at being amazed that for a small country, we have all types of NGOs that now want to be political parties. As such, they are no longer NGOs, so why do they called themselves NGOs?
Isana: What happened to PCM aka Parti Cinta Mahathir? Sudah tutup kedai ? Bag carrier Huan Cheng Guan dimana ?
Penang Front Party is another of BN’s creation, an opportunity to korek some pocket money.
Fair Play: It looks like a proxy for MCA because its president Liow Tiong Lai is too scared to see himself losing two consecutive by-elections under MCA.
Their chances are 50-50, so they claimed. More like 1-99, I think.
Speaking Sense: They should be honest and name it the Penang Front Party for Umno (PFP-FU).
1Mockery: BN did not dare to fight in their own right. PM Najib Razak is fully aware of this embarrassment. The next best thing to do is to sponsor others to get the beatings. BN never changes.
Headhunter: Not to worry. It will be known as Penang Forgotten Party in no time.
