Thousands of PKR members in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Sarawak cast their votes recently, without their nails marked by the indelible ink, reports The Star .

This resulted in party members questioning the possibility of members voting twice.

The daily reported that while PKR seemed to support the use of indelible ink in the Malaysian electoral system it failed to use it in its own party elections.

“How can the members rest assured that the same people did not go and vote again the next day as none of those who voted on Friday had their fingers dipped in indelible ink?” a party observer asked.

Members from PKR divisions in states such as Selangor, Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Perak, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Sabah  have yet to cast their votes.
