The Umno General Assembly which was scheduled for the end of October, will instead be held from Nov 25 to 29.

Party secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor today said the five-day assembly would start with the delivery of the president’s message on Nov 25, followed by the opening of the Wanita, Youth and Puteri Umno assemblies at night, the same day.

He said the Wanita, Youth and Puteri assemblies would take place simultaneously the following day.

“The Umno General Assembly 2014 (main assembly) will take place from Nov 27 to 29,” he added in a statement in Kuala Lumpur.
