Kemaman in Terengganu recorded unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) of 110, while the reading for 10 other areas was moderate as at 1pm today.

According to the Department of Environment (DOE) portal, the areas with moderate API readings were Pasir Gudang (69), Balok Baru, Kuantan (72), Nilai (55), Seremban (61), Shah Alam (65), Port Klang (51), Banting (54), SK Jalan Pegoh, Ipoh (57), Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang (62) and Paka (52).

The rest of the country had good API readings.

API reading of between 0 and 50 is categorised as good, 51 to 100 (moderate), 101 to 200 (unhealthy), 201 to 300 (very unhealthy) and 300 and above (hazardous).
