Despite supporters of PKR deputy president candidate Azmin Ali complaining of irregularities in party polls, the Gombak MP has widened his lead over his other two opponents.

In the latest official results released today, as of May 11, Azmin is ahead with 12,250 votes to Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Abdul Ibrahim's 8,123 votes and incumbent PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution's 6,997 votes.

However, the results for Selangor, which contains the bulk of votes, has yet to be released in the latest official results.

Khalid’s camp has claimed that if the Selangor results are factored in, it will put him marginally ahead in the race.

Twenty-seven more divisions have also yet to hold a re-election after their initial polling were aborted following claims of irregularities and scuffles breaking out.

A date for the re-election has yet to be decided.

Supporters aligned to Azmin are also leading in both the PKR Youth chief and Wanita chief contests.

 

Amirudin Shari has a slight edge in the youth chief contest with 2,139 votes to Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad's 2051 votes. The third candidate Mohd Nazree has 1,406 votes.

 

In the PKR Wanita chief contest, incumbent Zuraida Kamaruddin ( left ) is ahead with 4,253 votes to Rodziah Ismail's 3,964 votes.

 

However, groups aligned against Azmin are dominating the four vice-president positions which are up for contest with Nurul Izzah Anwar (16,698), Tian Chua (14,798) and Rafizi Ramli (12.690) the pack.

 

Shamsul Iskandar is the only candidate aligned to Azmin that made into the top four with 9,718 votes.

 

The top 10 in the supreme leadership council contest are Fariz Musa (15,196), Latheefa Koya (13,011), Gooi Hsiao Leung (12,870), Christina Liew (12,724), Ali Biju (12,509), Elizabeth Wong (12,348), William Leong (11,710), Yaakob Sapari (11,507), Abdul Yunus Jamahri (11,443) and Hee Loy Sian (11380).
