Former Jitra assemblyperson Saad Man died of lung cancer just before dawn today. He was 63.

Saad passed away at his residence in Lorong Enggang, Datuk Keramat AU, Kuala Lumpur at 5.30am.  

Kubang Pasu MP Mohd Johari Baharom said Saad would be buried at the Datuk Keramat AU Muslim Cemetery after the Zohor prayers.  

“I am saddened by his passing as it is a big loss to Umno and Kedah. He was an Umno fighter and even while bedridden, he still asked about Umno’s progress,” he said when contacted.
