Parts of Port Dickson, Jelebu, Jempol and Kuala Pilah will experience water supply disruption this Tuesday (June 10) following water treatment plant upgrading work, pipe relocation and maintenance.

Syarikat Air Negri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (Sains) Corporate Communications Unit deputy manager Norzita Ismail said the disruption in Port Dickson would be for 16 hours, starting 8am (June 10), involving the Jalan Pantai 2 ½ Mile area, Taman (Tmn) Raja Zainal, Cabot factory, Corus Hotel, Sunshine Bay Hotel, TNB senior officers Quarters, Transit Quarters, Kampung (Kg) Hailam, Esso Refinery, Tmn Too Kee Kah, Happy Garden, Jalan (Jln) Shell, Shell Refinery, Port Dickson town area, Tmn Muhibbah, Kg Chokra Jln Lama, Tmn Sri Bandar, Tmn Minang, Tmn Four Sea, Tmn Mekar, Kg Gopal Raju, Kg Arab, Tmn PD Akasia, Kg Air Meleleh, Jalan Seremban ½ Mile Area, Legacy Hotel, Tmn Putera, Customs Quarters, Tmn Bayu, Tmn Seroja, Health Clinic, Tmn Samudra, Sea Front Hotel and Tmn Seaview Phase 1 & 2.

“Meanwhile, there will be a 24-hour disruption in Jelebu, starting 8am (June 10), involving Tmn Durian Tipus, PKNNS 1 shoplots, Pekan Baru Desa Permai Simpang Durian, Rumah Rakyat Simpang Durian 1 & 2, Desa Permai Simpang Durian, Pekan Durian Tipus, Kg Sg Buloh, Kg Lakai, Kg Air Baning Rangoi, Tmn Pertang, Tmn Bukit Pertang, Tmn Sri Pertang, Tmn Simpang Jaya, Tmn Sri Desa, Tmn Sri Perdana, Tmn Serenggam, Rumah Rakyat Simpang Pertang, Rumah Rakyat Pertang, Tmn Gunung Emas, Tmn Teratai, Pekan Pertang, Kg Geylang, Kg Kalu and the entire Felda Pasoh 1 to 4 areas,” she said in a statement in Seremban today.

Meanwhile, she said in Jempol, the water disruption would be for 24 hours, beginning 8am (June 10) involving Palong 2 to 16, Kg Jeram Panjang, Kg Orang Asli Batu Peti, Rumah Rakyat Rompin and NS Cement.

Also a 16-hour disruption, starting at 8am (June 10) in the Jempol area involving Tmn Sri Rompin, Tmn Kwang Hup, Kg Cina Bahau, Tmn Industri Bahau, Tmn Margosa, Batu Chaping, Tmn Megah, Tmn Mahsan, Tmn Sri Mahsan, Mahsan Community College, Feldajaya Selatan, Medan Selera Simpang 4 Bandar Sri Jempol, Rumah Murah Mahsan, Tmn Teratai, Tmn. Satelite, Pekan Jelai, Tmn Sornam, Sekolah Kebangsaan St Aiden, Bahau wholesale market and the surrounding areas.  

Norzita said a there will also be a 24-hour disruption beginning 8am (June 10) in Kuala Pilah, involving Kepis, Senaling, Seri Menanti, Melang, Selaru, Johol, Dangi, Gemencheh Ulu, Kuala Pilah, Gentam, Batu Kikir, Juasseh and Rembang Panas.

She said contingency measures would be implemented if the disruption was more than 24 hours (from the time of disruption).

The water supply would resume in stages after the stated times.
