42 reports lodged against Isma chief

PARLIAMENT The police have received 42 reports lodged by members of the public on Ikatan Muslim Malaysia (Isma) president Abdullah Zaik Abdul Rahman's statement that the Chinese brought to then-Malaya are "intruders".

Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said an investigation paper has been opened under the Sedition Act 1948, and further investigations would be carried out with the cooperation of other government agencies such as the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
