Perlis Umno Youth chief Syed Atif Syed Abu Bakar today lodged a police report, claiming that Perlis Menteri Besar Azlan Man knew about the threats to his life and personal safety.

He said a member of state Umno committee had informed him that Azlan, during their meeting, had uttered something which implied that Azlan knew about the threats.

The meeting took place during an event at Pauh assemblyman service centre on the evening of June 25, Syed Atif told reporters after lodging the report at Kangar police headquarters here.

Syed Atif, however, did not disclose the name of the person who threatened him.
