Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak expressed his appreciation and thanks to former Terengganu menteri besar Ahmad Said for his contributions when helming the state's administration.

He said whatever contributed by Ahmad while he was menteri besar should not be taken lightly as these were invaluable efforts to develop Terengganu.

"I thank Ahmad Said as in his tenure as menteri besar, he had brought development in various areas and success to the state."

Najib said this in his speech before announcing the FGV dividend and raya money for Felda settlers at the Terengganu Felda Regional Office complex, in Kuala Terengganu yesterday.

The prime minister said he also fully supported the development concept brought by new Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman in administering the state.

He said Ahmad Razif was also prepared to continue with the good efforts made by Ahmad Said to ensure the state's continued development.
