I only sleep for four hours, says PM's wife

Being the wife of a leader is a difficult task as sacrifices must be made, said Rosmah Mansor, the wife of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
"In this fasting month, let me be frank, I don't even get enough sleep. I only sleep for four hours a day.
"So it is not easy to be the wife of a leader... We are forced to make sacrifices for the people and country...
"So don't let anyone say that being the wife of a leader is easy," she said.
Rosmah made these remarks during her speech at the Cheras Recreational Centre in Kuala Lumpur this morning, where she presented Aidilfitri aid.
Earlier, Najib's wife said she has been attending this function for the last six years.
"Back then, I was young. Now...," she broke into laughter when those in the audience responded, "Still young".
'Physically tired'
However, Rosmah told the audience that she only looked young but admitted that now, after six years, she felt physically tired.
But the prime minister's wife stressed that she had never grown tired of attending this function.
In her speech, Rosmah said that she was often running on a tight schedule, and disclosed that she had to rush off after her speech as she needed to finish Al Quran recitals.
"Even now, there are five people reciting Al Quran and waiting for me. But I said, I wanted to go to Cheras for just a short while. We need to finish the recitals by next week, because that's the timetable we have.
"Please do not think that I do not want to be here if I leave early," she added.
Rosmah also defended the Permata pre-school programmes, which she founded and is a patron of, saying that similar programmes exist in all developed countries.
"I don't even see money out of it. Permata is not for me, it is for the children. It's not for me, because I don't have one-year-old children. Even if I wanted one, I can't have one right now," she joked.
