Bung Moktar Radin has decided to be more cautious this time around in lauding Germany's triumph at the World Cup.
"Don't cry for me Argentina... Hai... Germany," he tweeted, referring to the famous song from the 1978 musical Evita.
In the finals, aired at 3am Malaysian time today, Germany defeated Argentina 1-0.
To a tweeter user who questioned him on who are his favourite Dutch players, the Umno MP replied Arjen Robben and Robbie Van Persie.
Last week, Bung made international news when he hailed Adolf Hitler in a twitter posting after Germany defeated Brazil 7-1 in the semifinal.
His infamous, "Well done, Bravo, Long Live Hitler" tweet was reported by the BBC and CNN as well as other international news agencies.
Following the massive outcry, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak stepped in and reprimanded Bung, who later tweeted an apology.
Though claiming it was his "sincerest apology", the MP courted further controversy for his enjoinder in the tweet that read, “Long Live Bung.”
The Kinabatangan MP was also livid that issues regarding Israel’s military aggression in Gaza failed to gain similar traction.
