National shooters Nur Suryani Mohd Taibi and Mohd Hadafi Jaafar failed to win any medals in the women's and men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions, at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre, in Glasgow on Tuesday.

Nur Suryani finished fourth with 422.0 points behind eventual gold medal winner Jasmine Ser from Singapore (449.0), Jen Mcintosh from Scotland (446.6) and Lajja Gauswami from India (436.1).

Mohd Hadafi on the other hand finished in fifth place with 391.6 points behind Daniel Rivers from England who won the gold medal with 452.9 points while Indian shooters Sanjeev Rajput and Gagan Narang took the silver and bronze medals with 446.9 and 436.8 points respectively.

Another national shooter, Hasli Izwan Amir Hasan, also failed to finish on the podium in the men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol.

David J Chapman from England won the gold with 23 points.
