Gerakan Youth chief Tan Keng Liang pleaded to PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim today to reconsider the party's decision to nominate only its president, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, as the new menteri besar of Selangor.

In a statement today, Tan said PAS has not agreed to PKR's proposal to have Wan Azizah as the next menteri besar, and that PKR's "insistence" is causing the crisis in Selangor.
