Fans of K-Pop or Korean pop will have a rare treat when the very popular South Korean musical genre performs at the ongoing Borneo Cultural Festival (BCF) at the town square in Sibu this Friday and Saturday.
Fans of K-Pop or Korean pop will have a rare treat when the very popular South Korean musical genre performs at the ongoing Borneo Cultural Festival (BCF) at the town square in Sibu this Friday and Saturday.
Sibu Municipal Council chairperson Tiong Thai King said a Korean K-Pop dance troupe, known as the ‘Hot -6', had confirmed its participation at the annual festival.
“The Hot-6 will come togther with the ‘Samunori troupe’, which is a four-member Korean cultural group playing four types of traditional percussion instruments,” he told reporters at his office in Sibu today.
Two other foreign groups to perform at the festival are the award-winning Tsai Menh Ying open space dance Group from Taiwan and Indonesia’s METAdomus, a contemporary music group.
Tiong said before the start of the show this Friday, there would also be a one-minute silence to remember all the victims of the downed Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17.
