'Selangor reserves may fund street demos for Anwar'
Selangor's massive RM3 billion reserves may be used to finance street protests in support of her Anwar Ibrahim if his wife and PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail becomes Selangor menteri besar, claims Umno-owned Utusan Malaysia .
"There have been many quarters, as reported, who are concerned that the reserves of the state will be used to rescue Anwar's political career, including funding a series of big street demonstrations if he is imprisoned for sodomy," it said in its Sunday edition Mingguan Malaysia today.
