Aircraft maker Boeing’s Defence Space and Security division will be opening its first cyber analytics centre outside the US in Singapore, the company announced yesterday.

The security centre will train professionals and perform analytics to prevent increasingly sophisticated threats targeting computer systems.

The facility is designed to increase cyber security in the Asia Pacific region.

It will allow clients to share important information quickly, the statement said.

Boeing Defence, Space & Security is the second largest defence contractor in the world, specialising in defence and aerospace products and services.
